My Little Cakepop® Cauldron Mold | Halloween Witch's Cauldron Cake Pop Mold

How to make Halloween cauldron cake pops

For the best results, start with delicious, easy-to-shape cake pop dough. Betty Crocker cake mixes are an excellent choice for preparing moist, mouldable cake pop dough.

At Partysweets, we love using our Steam Method to create cake pop dough that holds its shape beautifully when using My Little Cakepop® molds.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Prepare your cake pop dough. Bake your favourite Betty Crocker cake mix and prepare the cake pop dough using our Steam Method. Allow it to cool sufficiently.

2. Fill the mold. Roll the cake pop dough into a ball, place it inside the Cauldron Mold and press firmly.

3. Remove excess dough. Close the two-piece mold and remove any excess dough around the edges.

4. Smooth the seams. Carefully remove the shaped cake pop and use a lollipop stick to gently roll away any visible seams.

5. Insert the cake pop stick. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into melted FunCakes Deco Melts and insert it approximately three-quarters of the way into your cake pop.

6. Let the stick set. Place the cake pop upright in a cake pop stand until the melted coating has fully hardened and secured the stick.

7. Dip your cauldron. Melt black FunCakes Deco Melts or suitable chocolate, dip your cake pop and allow the coating to set.

8. Add your witch's brew! Use the Wilton Drizzle Scoop to add green, pink or purple melted Deco Melts to the top of your cauldron. Let the coating drip playfully over the edges.

9. Decorate. Finish with edible candy eyes, sugar pearls and colourful sprinkles before the drizzle sets.
